Heather represented Waters True Value and KKJQ radio (Dodge City, KS) in the Colgate Country Showdown National Final at Epcot Center in Orlando, Florida on January 29^th, 2005.  At 8:51pm Eastern Time, she became the National Champion.  She received $100,000 and the title of “THE BEST NEW ACT IN COUNTRY MUSIC”.
